Punjab School Education Board has declared date sheet for the board classes: class 5, class 8, class 10 and class 12. Many other boards have already announced date sheets for the board classes.
Due to pandemic, the educational institutes remained closed this year, as a result, students faced a great loss in their education. So the board has already reduced the syllabus of the classes and has now decided to postpone the exam for a couple of weeks. The PSEB will conduct annual exams of board classes from mid-March to April.
The PSEB has issued the date sheet for the class 5, class 8, class 10 and class 12 on its official site. Students can download the date sheet by logging in to the official portal of the board.
As stated in the date sheet examination of class 5 will be from 16 March to 23 March and of class 8 will be from 22 March to 7 April and of class 10 will be from 9 April and of class 12 from 22 March to 27 April. And the practical examinations of class 5 will be from 24 March to 27 March and of class 8 will be from 8 April to 19 April.
Students are recommended to download the date sheet from the official portal of the Punjab School Education Board i.e. pseb.ac.in. Students are advised to keep a copy of the date sheet for the future reference.
Board has made it clear that exams will be conducted by following the Covid-19 protocol. Board has also stated that extra 15 minutes will be given to the students for reading the question paper.
CBSE has also notified earlier to organize the exams of board classes i.e. class 10 and class 12 from 4 May to 10 June. And practical exams will be from 1st March. Candidates of CBSE board can check and download the date sheet from the official website of board (cbse.nic.in).
