If you’re doing a PSBTE diploma \u2014 Automobile, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or any other stream \u2014 your 1st semester subjects are identical: Basic Electronics, Basic Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, English, Engineering Drawing, Applied Maths, Physics, and a handful of others. We went through every available past paper for each subject and counted exactly how many times each question has actually been asked. Some have come up 13 times<\/strong> in the last decade.<\/p>\n

Below is a real sample for every 1st semester subject. The full ranked top 20 for each (with solutions) is one free login away.<\/p>\n

Basic Electrical Engineering (BEE)<\/h2>\n

“Discuss Kirchhoff’s voltage law” \u2014 13 times<\/strong>. “State and explain Faraday’s laws of electromagnetic induction” \u2014 12 times<\/strong>. See all 20 most repeated BEE questions \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n

Basic Electronics (BE)<\/h2>\n

English & Communication Skills-1 (CS-1)<\/h2>\n

English & Communication Skills-2 (CS-2)<\/h2>\n

Computer Fundamentals & IT (CFIT)<\/h2>\n

Environment Studies (ES)<\/h2>\n

Engineering Drawing (ED)<\/h2>\n

Repeats here are more about question type than exact wording (drawing\/projection tasks), but the same patterns come up year after year. See the ranked ED questions \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n

Applied Mathematics-1 & 2 (MATH-1, MATH-2)<\/h2>\n

Numerical and MCQ-style questions dominate, so it’s the problem types that repeat rather than identical wording. MATH-1 \u2192<\/a> \u00b7 MATH-2 \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n

Energy Conservation (EC)<\/h2>\n

Only one year of past papers is available so far, so repeat patterns are still forming. See the current EC questions \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n

Applied Mechanics & Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (FEE)<\/h2>\n

These are newer subjects on PSBTE’s syllabus \u2014 we don’t have enough past papers processed yet to show repeat patterns. Check back as more papers come in.<\/p>\n

How we’re counting “repeated”<\/h2>\n

Every question is matched against every available past paper (as far back as 2011, depending on subject) and grouped by how many separate exams asked essentially the same question. The numbers above are real counts, not estimates.<\/p>\n
