What should people do to stay healthy in your country?

People who consume a wholesome and balanced diet, do enough workout and keep off strain or tension are referred to as healthy. This essay will enlist some ways by which people of my nation can manage to stay fit and fine.

To begin with, it is a well-known fact that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Therefore, people must avoid triggers of stress and anxiety as they give birth to several health disorders such as depression, hypertension and several serious cardiac problems. They can do meditation, yoga and breathing exercises and try to maintain a positive atmosphere at home as well as at the workplace. People who have fewer tensions or mental traumas tend to live a healthier and longer life. Secondly, a healthy and nutritious diet is equally important to enjoy a disease-free life. Nowadays, people are often seen munching on junk food because they put the taste above the nutritional value of eatables. Fast food lacks nutrition and is high in calories. It disturbs our digestive system which gives birth to several health problems such as diabetes, indigestion, acidity and some heart or liver ailments. Fat from fried or heavy food items gets accumulated in our blood vessels and can cause blockage of heart valves or arteries which further leads to cardiac arrest or heart failure. Also, it puts a lot of strain on the stomach and liver as junk food takes very long to digest.

To continue, these days, with the advent of technology, most of the people lead a sedentary lifestyle. Doing work physically is a rare sight as most of the work at home or workplaces is done now with the help of machines such as lifting heavy boxes or items, washing clothes and so on. People are eating as they were in the past but the energy is not being expended. Thus body fat tends to increase which is called obesity, a common problem faced by every third or fourth person in our country. People engaged in white collar or sitting jobs are often seen facing this problem. They should try to go for morning or evening walks or join a gym to burn calories and to remain active because obesity due to an inactive lifestyle further gives rise to several ailments such as high blood pressure, thyroid, joint problems and PCOS among females. Moreover, people become lazy from the beginning of their life as children nowadays prefer to remain indoors, glued to video games, television, cell phones or laptops, rather than playing some outdoor games like cricket, football and many more. This not only hinders their physical growth but also causes several other problems like weakened eyesight, bad body posture and low stamina.

In summary, people need to make good changes in their lifestyle and get rid of lethargicness, unhealthy eating habits and mental stress to ensure their well-being
