For me, the best part about travelling is the journey towards the destination. I have travelled through almost every means of transport be it public or private. But today I would like to share a memorable experience when I went on a bicycle trip. It happened last year when I visited my grandmother\u2019s home in Kasauli. It is a hilly region and has pleasant weather throughout the year. Every morning I used to accompany my maternal uncle to the garden for morning exercise I used to ride a bicycle there to keep myself fit and to start the day energetically. It was a new experience for me and one day, all the cousins decided to go up hills riding on our bicycles. We asked for permission from our elders and were aware of the fact that they would not allow us for this. But to our surprise, they not only gave us the permission rather my maternal aunt and uncle both decided to join us for the same. We were very excited for the next morning and we started our trip in the early hours of the day. All of us were carrying our own backpacks filled with water bottles and other food items as we decided to have a family picnic at our destination. Along the ride, we enjoyed picturesque views and we used to take a break at certain points and captured the beauty of the mountains in our camera. After completing half of our ride, we took a break at a local shop and enjoyed hot bowls of Maggi and dumplings. We reached our destination around noon and at that time, a cool, breeze was flowing and the view from the top of the mountains was breathtaking. We then rented a tent from a shop and enjoyed our picnic for around four to five hours in the lap of nature. In the evening, we reached back to our home around 5 pm and grandmother had prepared snacks for us as she knew that we would be hungry after riding the bicycle.
