Tertiary education is a kind of investment in the student\u2019s life. Certainly, this should be an informed investment by taking into consideration all the important factors, however, a big salary should not be the only factor. Therefore, I do not agree with the statement that pupils should emphasize choosing the course which helps them in grabbing the highly-paid jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n It is true that what students will sow in their graduation, they are going to reap its results in their future. So, rather than focussing just on the output of a course in terms of a well-paid career, students should consider the factors such as their intellectual capabilities to undertake the difficulty level of a course, otherwise, it may lead to huge stress in the long run. Apart from this, scholars must evaluate their interests and inclination linked to the study program since a highly paid job can become an obligation if someone loathes his profession.<\/span><\/p>\n However, a well-paid job undoubtedly shortens the financial insecurities of a person, but at the same time, he has to sacrifice his satisfaction associated with the work. Most importantly, selecting an academic major in which a student does not develop a keen interest may deprive him of receiving a degree. Therefore, students should give priority to their interests and passion while choosing a major for university education but should not chase money.<\/span><\/p>\n In conclusion, I strongly believe that it is wrong to pick a university major from only the lucrative career point of view.
