Describe a famous athlete you know

– \u00a0Well, there are a couple of athletes whom I really\u00a0admire<\/strong>\u00a0because of their sports skills.<\/p>\n

– Here I would like to talk about<\/strong>\u00a0one of my favourite sportswomen named PV Sindhu.<\/p>\n

– She is an international badminton player of my country.<\/p>\n

– She was born on the 5th of July 1995 in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n

– Both her parents have been national-level volleyball players.<\/p>\n

– She is tall and very\u00a0agile<\/strong>\u00a0which\u00a0gives her an edge over<\/strong>\u00a0the other players.<\/p>\n

– She\u00a0picked up<\/strong>\u00a0the sport at very early age and won several competitions at the junior level.<\/p>\n

– I have started following her game since the Olympics 2016.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Now<\/strong>, I am a\u00a0diehard<\/strong>\u00a0fan of PV Sindhu and hardly miss her game.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0If I talk about her career achievements<\/strong>\u00a0that are\u00a0countless<\/strong>\u00a0as she has won a number of international tournaments.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Winning a silver medal in the Olympics<\/strong>\u00a02016 was the major\u00a0breakthrough<\/strong>\u00a0in her career because she\u00a0defeated<\/strong>\u00a0all the top-ranked players to enter the final.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0In 2018<\/strong>, she won gold in the Commonwealth Games.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Recently<\/strong>, she won her 2nd Olympic medal and becomes the second Indian athlete who has done this.<\/p>\n

– She is the first Indian badminton player to become the Badminton World Champion.<\/p>\n

– Our government also\u00a0honoured<\/strong>\u00a0her achievements with sports awards such as Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna and many more.<\/p>\n

– I really like her game especially the way she covers the whole court.<\/p>\n

– She is really famous for her\u00a0powerful smash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0In the latest years<\/strong>, she has totally dominated this sport which has made her popular all over the world.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Moreover<\/strong>, in a country like India where girls are not supposed to be good for sports, winning so many medals is\u00a0marvellous<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Now s<\/strong>he is an idol for many young girls in India who are\u00a0following in her footsteps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Apart from sports<\/strong>, she is a\u00a0kind-hearted<\/strong>\u00a0person and has contributed to several social welfare programs.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Recently<\/strong>, she donated 10 lakhs in the fight against Covid-19.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0I must say<\/strong>\u00a0she is a true\u00a0legend<\/strong>\u00a0of the game as she always congratulates her opponents with a smile even after losing the game.<\/p>\n

– I\u2019m hopeful that in future she will keep making our country proud with her game.<\/p>\n
