The great visionary, patorn, mentor, guide and inspiring fountain of our modern thoughts and thinking, Giani Sardara Singh Gill left his village and came to delhi in the year back 1939 with a dream of social cultural and educational upliftment of the society. He bought a piece of land for this purpose which is still in his name.That land is about 3 kilometres in length and is now known as Giani border, Ghaziabad. It is one of the largest transport hubs in Asia. His dream to promote rural education came true when he donated a large piece of his land to the Government of INDIA, on which Government college, Dhudike is errected and spreading the essence of education in the area around it. Recognising his achievement and encouraging his zest and zill for social work he was honoured by the then prime minister of India Mr. Lal Bahadur Shastri. He was associated with the setting up of Lala Lajpat Rai Centenary College, Dhudike. Dhudike is the birth place of Zealous patriot, front-rank freedom fighter, social reformer and a philanthropist, Punjab Kesri Lala lajpat Rai. His temptation for education does not stop here he further wants to establish a professional and technical college in his village. To fulfill his unaccomplished desire, his youngest son S. Lakhbir Singh Gill started a Technical and Management college under the name of North West Group Of Institutes at Dhudike under the aegies of Giani Sardar Singh Gill foundation trust to perpetuate the sacred memory of Giani Sardara Singh Gill who wants a revolutionary change in all sphere of life of the villagers. Our mission as an Institution is to provide world-class Engineering and Management education, foster research and development, evolve innovative applications of technology, encourage entrepreneurship and ultimately mould young men and women capable of assuming leadership of the society for the betterment of the country.
