Festival
- What is your favorite festival?
My favourite festival is Diwali because it is the festival of lights and I love to see how we see all houses and buildings decorated with beautiful earthen lamps, candles and artificial lights on this day. This festival has a unique vibe, unlike any other festival.
- How do you celebrate this festival?
I begin celebrating this festival by cleaning up the house a few days before Diwali as it is a ritual. On the day of Diwali, I decorate my house with beautiful lights and we prepare several tasty dishes at home. In the evening we go to Gurdwara to pay obeisance. i like to celebrate this festival at home with my family.
- What is the most popular Indian festival?
I think Diwali is the most popular Indian festival because it is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains as well as Buddhists. People of these religions celebrate this festival with great pomp and show.
- Do you like Western festivals?
Yes, I like western festivals like Christmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving. I would really like to celebrate them some day.
