- Do you often write (or, send) emails?
Yes, being a student I often write emails as I have to submit school projects and assignments online. Also, to interact with my teachers, I used the medium of emails.
- What do you write about?
I generally write about doubts and queries I have regarding any subject. I have also written some emails to my friend who lives in Canada and we sometimes share about our experiences and circumstances going on in life.
- Do you think emails are useful?
Yes, I think emails are very essential as they serve as the professional medium of communication and enable us to share important messages and contents. Also, it is easy to locate old emails as they remain saved for a lifetime until the message is deleted.
- What kinds of emails do you send and receive?
I mostly send emails related to my school work.
- Do you think it is a good thing that some companies send out letters/spam emails for the purpose of advertising?
Yes, I realize that emails have become an important medium of advertisements by some companies which might be useful for them to connect with the audience but personally, I find them annoying as they cause a crowd on my email and sometimes I miss to read important emails due to this.
- How often do you write letters?
I hardly write any letter as for personal conversations I use social media applications such as Whatsapp, Instagram, etcetera and for professional purposes, I prefer to rely on emails. But I remember once writing a letter to my mother when I was in school and was recently introduced to the concept of letter writing.
- What do you write about?
As I have written only one letter in my life till now, I wrote about how much I love and adore my mother. I thanked her for giving me birth and for everything she does for me and our family.
- On what occasions do you write letters?
I do write invitation letters to friends for inviting them on occasions such as festivals or celebrations at my home.
- Do you like writing letters to your relatives and friends? (why/why not?)
I like writing letters to my relatives and friends as it seems to be a sophisticated way of interaction, especially when inviting them over for parties. But generally, I prefer to send messages over WhatsApp.

No, my friend and I stay in touch through WhatsApp and phone calls.
11. How do you keep in touch with your friends and relatives (by email, letter, by phon or by any other way)?
I interact with my friends and relatives through social media apps and phone calls.
