It is often said that life without colour would have been dull and boring. Colours indeed add vibrance and energy to life and things. I have been to several colourful places but if i have to talk about the most vibrant one which I have been to so far, it surely is Miracle Garden.
The Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden located in the district of Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The garden was launched on Valentine’s Day in 2013. The garden occupies over 72,000 square metres of area making it the world’s largest natural flower garden featuring over 50 million colourful flowers and 250 million plants. In April 2015, the garden was awarded the Moselle Award for New Garden Experiences of the year by the Garden Tourism Award 2015. I know about this place as I visited it during my last visit to Dubai in the month of April, 2019. This place was on the top of my bucket list as I was mesmerised by seeing its images on the internet. It’s entry ticket was worth 50 Arab Emirates Dirhams per person and we went there in the morning at 10:30 am and stayed there for around 4 hours.
The park offers 45 different species of flowers, including marigolds, petunias which is the most popular flower, roses, calendulas and tulips. Moreover, its food court is also having a colorful ambiance. In Miracle garden, flowers and plants have been cut and moulded into different beautiful shapes such as a huge aeroplane made entirely of bushes laden with flowers of multi shades. The heart’s passage and floral clock were my favourites. Lake park, big teddy bear and mickey mouse were all made out of flowers and plants of dazzling colours. Lost Paradise’ in Miracle garden is an underground floral cascade with a depth of 20ft, where one could find dozens of Floral Houses and Bungalows. Lake Park transforms Dubai Miracle Garden into a living heaven on planet earth. It is refreshing to watch, as it is fully showered with colorful flowers and a water fountain that offers a real degree of relaxation for the visitors while sitting around the lake. We too spent a wonderful morning at the lakeshore. We clicked many pictures there and had a wonderful time amid the flora at its best. The food served in the garden’s food court was scrumptious. Honestly, I have never been to a place which is as colourful and lively yet serene as Miracle Garden!
