Social media has both negative and positive influence on friendships. Where on the one hand it helps to reunite the long-lost friends and helps them to communicate with each other free of cost at any time, it also has reduced the desire or need among friends to meet in reality thus making the concept of friendship too a virtual one.
- Why do people lose contact with each other after graduation?
After graduation most of the young adults become busy in shaping their career and focusing on professional life. Some also become busy with their families and begin their marital life, after graduation people enter a whole new different phase of life which makes them too occupied that most of them end up losing contact with their friends from college.

Yes, people of my country are quite friendly and outgoing and they like to make new friends in educational institutions, at work places, while travelling as well as via social media.

I think old friends are important to both new and old generations. I think talking to childhood pals takes people back to childhood days in some sense and most people miss that phase which was a time free of tensions and worries.
