Write a letter to your English-speaking friend who is visiting you soon and asking you what presents your family would like. Write
– Who your family consists of
– What kind of presents each member would like.
– How you feel about your friend coming to visit

Dear ABC,

I am doing very well here and hope the same for you. Yesterday I received your letter and I am glad to know that finally you are visiting us next month on the occasion of Diwali! I can’t put my excitement in words here and I am anxiously waiting for the 12th of November.

Well, that’s an extremely sweet gesture of yours to ask me what presents my family would like. My family consists of me, my father and my mother. You can bring whatever token of love you want for me. It’s not really necessary as your visit is itself a gift for all of us. But as you have insisted, you may bring a Maple syrup, Lindt truffle chocolates and a Aveeno body lotion for all of us. You can bring a pack of pecans and almonds for my mother and my father would fancy a BC jacket.

I have planned things to do for almost every day during your 1-month stay in India with us. For the first two days you can relax and then we will celebrate Diwali traditionally with great pomp and show. On 16th November, we will leave for our road trip and visit Manali, Rishikesh, Jim Corbett National Park, Nainital, Rajasthan, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Amritsar and Chandigarh. We will have great fun and I assure it will be the best holiday trip of your life.

Waiting eagerly to see you soon!

Yours Lovingly,

XYZ
