Having leisure time is very important nowadays as most of the people have an extremely hectic schedule. I also love to spend some free time with my family once in a while. On Sundays or during holidays we do various fun activities like cooking, playing cards, going to amusement parks or watching television. Here I will talk about a free time activity that I like to do the most with my family.
I mostly like to go for movies with my parents whenever we all have spare time. Not only me but my father and mother are also fond of watching movies. We go out to watch movies once or twice a month. We mostly go to the movie theatres on the weekends when all of us are free. I always book tickets online in advance though the BookMyShow application to reserve the best seats. We most preferably go for watching movies at night. I watch movies with my parents as well as with my husband. Actually this is the most popular fun activity to do in Ludhiana. I go to watch historical, religious or Punjabi comedy movies with my parents. Me and my husband like to watch animated, action, drama, thriller and horror movies. We love to munch on snacks like popcorn, hotdogs and we also have cold drinks during the show.
Watching movies on a big screen in a theatre is indeed an amazing experience. It’s tempting to think that sitting in a dark theater staring at a massive screen makes us feel like a part of the movie itself. We always prefer to take recliners in the last row as they are quite comfortable. PVR is our theatre of choice but many times we also like going to MBD mall to the Neopolis cinemas. When me and my husband went to Dubai in 2018 and 2019, watching movies in imax theatres in Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates was on the top of our bucket list and we watched Lara Croft Tomb Raider, Shazam and Pet cemetary there. I am a complete movie buff and this is my family’s favourite leisure time activity.
