Describe a time you got up early

- Normally, I get up around 6:30 am, but there are some moments in my life when I got up early in the morning.
- Here I would like to talk about a time when I got up at 3 o’clock in the morning.
- What happened exactly, a few months back, me and my family had to visit our close relatives as they were going back to Canada.
- The main reason why I woke up so early was the lockdown in my state due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
- At that time, one could only travel before 7 a.m. or after 6 p.m.
- As our relatives’ home is approximately 80 kilometres, so we decided to depart in the early morning.
- To get up early, I set an alarm on my mobile phone for 3 O’clock.
- After having tea, I started getting ready and it took me around 45 minutes.
- As we bought some presents for them, I made sure to pick up those.
- We departed around 4:30 in our car.
- As it was a journey of 2 hours, we also stopped at one restaurant to have some snacks.
- On the way, I also noticed that at some places the police were also getting ready to implement the travel restrictions.
- To be honest, I was feeling a bit sleepy because I wasn’t used to getting up so early.
- Moreover, I hadn’t a sound sleep that night because of the tension to get up early.
- However, it was necessary because my uncle’s family came to India after many years for vocations and it was our moral duty to see them off.
- On that day, I also realized the atmosphere in the early morning is very calm and soothing and I think this is the reason why so many people including my parents get up early for doing meditation.
- Finally, we reached our relatives’ home in time and spent the whole day there while talking about Canada with them.
