I have had many ambitions in life. I succeeded in achieving most of them but some of them still remain unaccomplished. It’s just because of an excessively busy routine due to which I am unable to focus on my long sought ambitions. Here I will talk about one of them.
Ever since I graduated, I aspire to go abroad and settle in one of my favourite countries which are UAE, Australia, Canada or Singapore. Although I have toured all of them except Canada but settling down there in one of them is still an unfulfilled desire. However, I was going to begin working on this ambition in the month of March, but then Covid-19 ruined all my plans. I was going to apply for Canadian tourist visa on account of Canada Day. My elder brother has been living there since 1991 and keeps telling me about the charms of living in Canada. He is a Sheriff there in Edmonton Courts for 10 years and he and his family get many facilities provided by the Government of Canada. He said I could apply for Canadian tourist visa as I have a good travel history and also I can apply for a ministry visa as I am the head of my Village here and have won the rural elections. I cannot however apply for a study visa or Permanent Residency as I have a huge study gap now. So this is a big stumbling block between me and my ambition. However, I can apply for a work permit or tourist visa and fulfill this desire. Moreover, I believe the weather there will just be perfect for me as I just can’t stand hot and sultry weather and end up getting many skin allergies here. Also I am allergic to dust and pollution so living in a cleaner country would be a respite. Even during the Corona pandemic, the Canadian government supported its young and old citizens in the best possible way and vividly proved that they deserve holding the number one rank worldwide in terms of quality of life and healthcare. I have relatives living in almost every province of Canada and they keep posting breathtaking pictures of beautiful Canadian landscapes such as that of Jasper, Banff, Victoria and Vernon on their social media accounts. Once this Covid-19 problem is resolved, I’d start working on my dream once again and I hope it will get fulfilled someday soon.
