Describe an item on which you spent more than expected

You should say:

• What it is

• How much did you spend on it

• Why you bought it

• And explain why you think you spent more than expected

• Well, sometimes we go beyond our budget to buy things that we feel necessary and beneficial for us.
• Here I would like to talk aboutan item on which I spent more than my budget.
• What happened exactly, a few months back, I was looking for TV and for that my budget was between 40-45
• Before buying it, I went to a number of shops to get an idea about prices and features.
• Finally, I bought a 55 inches LED TV of Sony Brand. It is an Ultra slim model with android operating system. It has many integrated features like voice recognition, inbuilt applications for games and movies and 4k resolution.
• I bought it from a local electronic shop for 60 thousand rupees which was off course more than my expected budget.
• Actually, before buying this TV, we had an old LCD TV which stopped working all of a sudden.
• The technician told that it cannot be repaired as the parts of this TV were not available in the market.
• So, me and my family decided to buy a new one.
• Moreover, these days LED TV comes with many inbuilt features so buying new one was the best option for us.
• The main reason why I spent more than what I was expecting because of the latest features and modern technology of this LED TV.
• Actually, before buying this LED TV , I watched a video on YouTube about this TV’s unboxing.
• The guy in the video explained countless features of this gadget that I was not aware about.
• It has a number of inbuilt apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime , Hotstar etc. from where we can play different channels, watch sports, and enjoy newly released movies and can be eaily connected with mobile phones, laptop and music system.
• It also has voice recognition feature to find anything on the internet within seconds.
• All of these features make it multifunctional.
• After knowing all these features, I got so impressed that I made up my mind to buy it.
• The sales manager at the shop also appraised it and told us about its positive reviews from the previous customers.
• Initially I was bit confused due to its price but at the end, its features influenced me so much that I ended up buying it.
