Describe the happiest day you had
- Where were you?
- Who you were with?
- What you did?
- And explain why you think it was the happiest day?
Life is a blend of highs and lows. All people have several merry moments that they cherish throughout their lives. I also experienced several happy days in my life but here i will talk about a day which I believe was the happiest so far.
2 years ago, in January 2018, I got an unbelievable surprise of my life from my father. Although he keeps spoiling me with his love and sudden surprises, this I believe was the one which gave me immense happiness. While having dinner my dad suddenly started talking about my dream country Singapore. He knew that I wanted to visit it for quite some time. When he started talking about it, I could feel that he was hiding something from me and my mother.
Upon our insistence, he finally spilled the beans. He told us both that he was planning on booking a 4 nights and 5 days Singapore tour package for us three. I was on cloud nine on hearing this and I hugged him tight and thanked him. He told us about it on 15th of January and we were supposed to fly for Singapore from Amritsar airport on 6th of February. We had made all the arrangements within 3 weeks. My mother and I took care of packing and some urgent shopping and my father handled all work regarding visas, air tickets, hotel and he made some bookings for activities to do in Singapore after discussing with me.
Finally, the day arrived and we were extremely ecstatic about our second international trip together. We left for Amritsar airport and when we finally boarded the plane after going through all immigration formalities I just couldn’t hold my excitement. In 5.5 hours we arrived at Changi airport and we were mesmerised to see the world’s biggest airport. It had so many stores, restaurants and hotels. Yet another totally new airport building adjacent to the existing one is under construction.
I believe that day was the happiest day of my life as whole day I was feeling excited about the activities we had booked to do such as Visiting Universal Studios, numerous things we were to do at Sentosa Island , Merlion , Gardens by the bay , Singapore Zoo and night safari , dining at Clarke quay , shopping at orchard road , Adventure Cove water park , sunset sail and we were to visit 2 most happening beaches of Singapore.
I don’t think anything gives me more joy than travelling does and that too with my two favourite people! That day indeed was the most precious and joyful day of my life which I will never forget.
