Describe a place(/person/home) you like to visit but you don’t want to live there?
– -What place is it
– -When do you visit that place
– -How you feel about it
– -Why you don’t want to live there

Well, I am a passionate traveller and love to explore new places.  I am a firm believer of the fact that travelling broadens one’s mindset and imparts wisdom to understand the uniqueness of different places.  Every year, I visit a new state to gain awareness about new cultures, people and to admire the scenic beauty of different locations.  Though I take delight in wandering to adventurous places but I find peace at my home and could not stay away for more than a week.

I would like to share about a place where I visit twice in every year but cannot stay there for long.  I go to my best friend’s house which is located in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.  I generally visit there during my half-yearly breaks to enjoy the mountainous views and to meet my friend.  Her house is located on the hills and has a picturesque view of the snowy mountains.  I relish visiting there because this place gives me an opportunity to take a break from the mundane routine and to find some peace in the hectic life.

Mountains are the most serene natural paradise and I feel close to nature by staying there.  Also, I enjoy extreme sports such as paragliding, trekking and river rafting in the tranquillity of the hills.  I enjoy visiting to cafes and food joints with my friend and enjoy the scrumptious traditional cuisines.  Sometimes, we also go for camping in the woods.  Although, I cherish every moment spent there and like to visit there every now and then but I could not stay there for long.

First of all, I feel that though life in the mountains is peaceful but it comes to a standstill after some time.  I start to miss the hustle and bustle of city life.  Secondly, there is no night life in the mountains as everything shuts down before dusk to avoid the challenges associated with riding on hilly roads at night.  Also, there is a lack of educational and job opportunities in such regions as people are mostly dependent on agricultural activities and small businesses.

Last but not the least, the extreme temperatures of the hilly regions and the dearth of required sunlight makes it difficult for me to stay there.  Therefore, despite of my love to visit hilly regions I cannot stay there for long.
