Well, with the advent of technology almost every part of our life today has become dependent on scientific equipment. I have all sorts of gadgets such as a mobile phone and a laptop. Today, I would be sharing about a time when my laptop broke down. Generally, I take good care of my gadgets and make sure that they are kept safe. But one can never rely totally on machines as sometimes there could be any failure with them. I bought this laptop especially for my schooling purpose as I have to make projects and assignments every now and then. It was during high school when I was working on an assignment on my laptop. I was working on it since morning as I had to submit my work by the next day. In the afternoon, my cousin came to visit us with her two-year toddler. I was meeting him for the first time and became so excited in playing with him that I forgot to pack up my laptop first. It was kept on my study table and the toddler had just started to walk. We were all looking at him walking on the ground as he falls and stands up every time but suddenly, to take some sport he grabbed the charging wire of my laptop which was hanging from the table. In a few seconds, we heard the sound of laptop falling on the ground. I rush to pick up my nephew as he got scared of the sound and had started to cry. After giving him to his mother, I went ahead to pick my laptop with sinking heart. I saw that there was a huge crack on the laptop screen and I struggled to switch it on. But sadly, it did not start and I knew that my laptop had been broken. My cousin apologized to me on behalf of her baby but I knew it was not his fault as I must have kept it safely. Also, accidents can happen to everyone and I was relieved that the laptop did not fall on him otherwise he would have been injured. I rush to a local computer repair shop and got a sigh of relief when they told me that it can be repaired.
