  1. What kinds of ambition do people have?

People have different kinds of ambitions. Some may want to become famous in life, some may want to be of benefit to society, some may want to excel in sports or field of art and others may want to earn a lot of money in life. Having an ambition is totally subjective.

  1. Why should parents encourage children to have ambitions?

Parents should encourage young ones to have ambitions because, without ambition, life lacks direction or goal. Ambitions keep people motivated and focused towards a particular goal hence children must have the ambition to channelize their energy towards something fruitful.

  1. Should parents interfere with children’s ambitions?

Parents can only guide children to analyze their strengths and weaknesses on the basis of which children should be allowed to have an ambition in life and that should be decided by children themselves, however, parents must not pressurize or direct children to have certain ambition.

  1. Is there any difference between the ambition of grown-ups and that of children?

Yes, children usually have ambitions regarding what they want to become once they become adults. They usually have ambitions to top in class or school, bring laurels in the field of arts or sports. Some aspire to become doctors, engineers and so on and they begin working on it from childhood. On the other hand, grown-ups mostly have ambitions to make more and more savings or to reach newer heights professionally.
