Well, I have had many achievements in life so far and have celebrated most of them with my kith and kins. I really enjoy celebrating when I reach new milestones to make the event memorable and to share my joy with my near and dear ones especially my parents and husband. Here I will talk about a time when I enjoyed a surprise celebration after an important accomplishment which is the most memorable for me.

It was back in 2013, my final exams for Nursing diploma were just over and I heaved a sigh of relief once when they ended. However, I was anxious to know my result and was waiting eagerly for it. The result was to be announced 25 days after the exams. Actually in the first two years I did pretty well and I scored 76 % in both the years. I never worked much for scoring high in exams because I am not the one who runs behind marks or cram things. I just used to attend classes properly and used to review them once when i went back home the same day. I am not the kind of person who can sit, spend hours in studying and try to memorize things, although I always regretted not doing so because perhaps if I did so, I could have scored even better. But in the third and final year, just a fortnight before the final exams were about to start, I fell sick. I wanted to prepare more and score better in the final year but my health did not allow me to do much of it.  Fortunately, I was fully recovered from the flu 2-3 days before the exams and I revised whatever I could.  I was not hoping to get a very good percentage in the 3rd year but finally when the result was announced online, I was taken aback with elation to find that I had scored 80 % in the final year and the overall percentage was 77.3 %. My father wanted me to score above 75% overall and I succeeded in doing so. I was at my friends’ when I called and gave them the good tidings and they also were very happy. I went back home after around 2 hours and when I arrived, I was surprised to find that my mother had ordered a cake and I cut it. My father gave me 5000 rs for shopping and they both hugged me. My father took us to dinner at his favourite restaurant that night. That was the best celebration of my life that I enjoyed with my two favourite people.
