The provided bar graph compares the amount of free time enjoyed by males and females of distinct work levels in a usual week in the year 1998-1999. Units are measured in Hours.
It can be vividly seen that no information has been provided for part-time employed and house-staying men. For the rest of the categories, men had more leisure time than women. The highest amount of spare time was enjoyed by those who were unemployed as jobless men had about 85 hours of idle time and women from the same category enjoyed about 83 hours. Moreover, the retired folks also relished the leisure time similar to that of the unemployed males and females. However, men working full-time had a total of 40 hours of spare moments as compared to about 37 hours of women from the same status. Finally, females working as part-timers savoured 40 hours for their leisure activities and housewives had 50 hours to relax per week.
In conclusion, men and women who were unemployed and retired had more leisure time than working people and also men in comparison to women had more time for relaxation activities.
