The line graph delineates the figure of England’s citizenry going overseas from England and foreign residents travelling to England between 1979 to 1999, while the bar graph provides insight about the number of UK citizens who tripped to five of the most touristed nations in 1999. Units are given in millions.

Overall, there was a surge in the amount of sojourns from and to the United Kingdom. Also, the UK residents visited overseas more than the visitants from abroad visited the UK over the given time period. Moreover, France was the hot spot among the English people.

At the fleeting glance, the number of residents of the UK travelling overseas began at just below 15 million in 1979 which elevated substantially to arrive at a number of over 50 million in 1999. In addition, about 10 million overseas residents sojourned to the United Kingdom in the beginning of the given period which became threefolds by the final year.
