You have just arrived in a foreign country on a business trip. You faced a problem at the airport. Write a letter to the airport manager regarding the problem you had. In your letter
– identify yourself and state your flight number, – explain what problem you had at the airport, – suggest an improvement that should be made to the airport to prevent the problem.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to bring your attention to the problem I faced at your airport.
My name is John Smith, and a few days ago, I travelled from Delhi to Sydney on purpose. My flight number was FX5484, and I reached at Sydney airport at 11 o’clock in the morning.
The problem I have had at your airport was with the luggage department. I waited for 3 hours to get my luggage back, which was very tiring for me as I have to attend a meeting on the same day. Although inspecting luggage is a part of your protocol, you should also take into account the amount of time it takes.
I would like to suggest you find out the exact reason for this problem. In case it is because of the scarcity of staff especially in peak working hours, it would be a good idea to hire some part-time workers to make this process fast. I hope you would consider my suggestion as so many other people are dealing with the same issue.
Yours faithfully,
John Smith
