You have planned to study in Australia. You have sent a letter to a college, but you have not received a reply from the college. Write a letter to the college principal. In your letter
- you should give details of the course that you wished to do,
- say why do you choose to study at the college,
- say why you need the reply soon.
Dear Sir,
My name is XYZ and I am from Ludhiana, Punjab but I am an immigrant student living in Sydney for the past 2 years. I am writing to bring into your notice the application which I wrote to you 2 months ago to take your approval to join your college but have not got any response for it yet.
I want to join for a 1-year Diploma in International Culinary Arts. As I read from the college’s website that there are two intakes for the course, one beginning in the month of November will be suitable for me. I am a future culinary enthusiast and I wish to excel in the field by improving my skills to the fullest. Moreover, I meet the eligibility criteria according to all the given requisites for the course on your official website, therefore i requested for a seat for this course in my previous letter.
As Swiss hospitality is an epitome of excellence, I decided to study at HTMi’s branch in Sydney as I have recently finished my graduation in Hotel Management here and I believe the aforementioned International Culinary Diploma can help me broaden my horizons as well as gain more expertise in the field. Moreover, one of my friends got enrolled for the same course in your college last year and she recommended me to join for the same.
Kindly let me know soon if I can have an opportunity to study at your college because I had applied for the same course in some other college as well after waiting for your response for a month and they accepted my letter of application yesterday. However, as your college is ranked as the best one in Sydney therefore I am eager to join you.
Looking forward to a quick revert.
Yours sincerely,
XYZ
