You recently bought a piece of equipment for your kitchen but it did not work. You phoned the shop but no action was taken.
Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter
- Describe the problem with the equipment
- Explain what happened when you phoned the shop
- Say what you would like the manager to do.
Dear ABC,
My name is XYZ and I have been a registered and regular customer with Croma Electronics since 2017.I am writing to complain about a faulty Kitchen appliance that I bought from your store 10 days ago.
So far, all my shopping experiences with Croma have been pleasant ones, but last Monday I purchased a Samsung microwave oven, model number MC-8087ABR. Although when your executive gave me its demo at the store, it was working fairly well but when i brought it home and tried warming some food in it, it didn’t turn on.
I tried checking the mains and there was nothing wrong with them. I immediately phoned the store and they put me on hold for over 20 minutes to call the executive who sold me the microwave. After a long wait I told the executive about the problem but it has been over a week now and no action has been taken.
As the product is under a 2-year warranty, I would request you to either send someone to fix the fault in it or just replace it with a working one. If nothing could be done, then I demand a full refund of the payment which is Rs 13,000 without any further delay.
Looking forward to a quick response.
Regards,
XYZ
