You recently organized an all-day meeting for you company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
- Say what the participants liked about the hotel
- Explain why they were unhappy about the food
- Suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future
Dear Mr. John,
I am writing this letter as feedback on behalf of the employees of my Company, who participated in an all-day meeting held at your hotel on Thursday. The overall experience was good; however, the food could have been better.
Being at the hotel for the whole day seemed to be challenging in the beginning, however, the hospitality and warm welcome by the staff created a nice ambience for all the employees. The seating arrangement was comfortable, and the cooling was adequate. Moreover, the sound system was perfect, and the prompt availability of technicians made the meeting flow seamlessly. The lunch was where the comfort level dwindled a bit though.
When the food was served, everything was okay in the beginning. But the non-vegetarian section created issues. The meat and chicken smelled funny and when tasted, it was found that the food was not fresh. The Chef soon realized that one of his team members had forgotten to freeze the meats properly. Nonetheless, all those items were replaced, however, our meeting got delayed by one and a half hour.
I would suggest you to personally check the food items to avoid such mishaps. This would mean continued business opportunities with you and a greater experience for all.
I hope you will pay heed to the feedback. Hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Derek Smith.
