The Chart below shows the results of a survey about peoples’ coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

The supplied bar chart outlines the amount of residents’ coffee and tea buying as well as ingesting pattern in the last four weeks in five different Australian cities namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. Units are measured in percentage.

A glance at the graph reveals that visiting café to consume coffee and tea was the most frequent habit excluding Adelaide. Moreover, the percentage of individuals purchasing instant coffee was always superior to that of those purchasing fresh coffee in all five cities.

In the case of Sydney and Melbourne, the amount of Sydney’s residents who drank tea or coffee at restaurants was about 61 % but the percentage for the same was slightly higher in Melbourne with about 63 %. In the meantime, more than 45 % of Sydney’s and Melbourne’s citizens had a habit of buying instant coffee, while on the contrary the ratio of those purchasing fresh coffee in these two cities was around 44 % and 43 % respectively.

Probing further, the proportion of people relishing coffee or tea at a café was recorded the highest in Hobart, followed by Brisbane and Adelaide with 51 % and 49 % orderly. Simultaneously, around 53 % of Brisbane and Hobart’s populace chose to shop for instant coffee, whereas in Adelaide the proportion for the same was nearly 50 %. Finally, a close resemblance can be witnessed in the proportion of masses buying fresh coffee in Brisbane and Adelaide with around 34 %, while Hobart was accounted for at about 38 %.
